Nutrition for Pets On the Road
Anytime we hit the road for a long period of time, there is a strong temptation to eat low-quality food. The same goes for the way we feed our pets. The best way to avoid the temptation of fast food and gas-station snacks is to pack quality food for the trip.
We can do this with coolers, containers, and smart cooking techniques. But feeding our pets in a healthy way on the road is even simpler. Quality dog food can travel well and tends to have a long shelf life. Just make sure you pack for both of you and tune into the Drake Center for Veterinary Care channel for more tips!
