A few minor scratches or dings really aren’t a big deal, but major dents or deep gouges should be an immediate red flag.

When you get around to the front of the snowmobile, it’s important to make sure you’re looking for dents and taking a close look at the front of the skis. A snowmobile that has had a run-in with a tree or hard snowbank might have a few issues with appearance or functionality around the front. You’ll want to look out for these things and test out the suspension arms above the skis to make sure everything will work as you need it to.
